The FWF is a unique pilot program for the Greenburgh, White Plains and surrounding area of Westchester County communities. The academy proposes to use a combination of basketball, academic enhancement, coaching seminars and cultural enrichment programs to prepare youth and high school student athletes for academic and athletic success. 

The FWF project will be housed at community centers, high schools and gymnasiums in Greenburgh, White Plains and surounding areas of Westchester County. The fundamental skills that youth will develop under the aegis of basketball will invariably enhance their self-esteem, build confidence, discipline, motivate and build self pride, whether they continue to play high school or college basketball. It is our hope and aim that they be prepared to compete in today's highly complex society and world they will inherit.
